Description

The Clinical Neurochemistry Laboratory at The University of Gothenburg, Department of Psychiatry and Neurochemistry (CNL) has recently developed a method on the single molecular array (Simoa) platform to measure phosphorylated tau (p-tau) in plasma or serum samples. The sensitive digital bead-based technology is unparalleled for the femtomolar detection of proteins in the blood. CNL need to purchase two SIMOA instruments to determine p-tau in clinical routine, scientific research and pharmaceutical studies in Sweden and Internationally. The instruments will be used to advance novel research into the discovery of new biological tests for brain injury.
