The databases should include the patent law "state of the art" and make the following contents searchable: General • Database coverage since about 1800 Search in several databases without the need to import/export manually generated lists ("crossover searches") • Storage and management of search profiles • Extensive output and export possibilities of data, structures and reactions • The content should be subject to a permanent daily update. Accessibility of the research tool should generally be guaranteed Monday to Saturday, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. • Regular training courses provided by the provider of the search platform and databases that meet the DPMA's needs in terms of frequency and depth. • During the normal working hours of the DPMA, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a technical and professional helpdesk will be offered by the provider.
