-Support the autonomous communities in the extinction of forest fires by launching water and, where appropriate, retardant additives, both in initial attack and in extended attack. -Transport to the components of the forest fire reinforcement brigades (BRIF) indicated or to other brigades, to participate in extinguishing work. -Throwing water over fires in order to support ground personnel involved in firefighting, delaying ignition and decreasing fire intensity. -Participate in other missions authorized by MITECO, provided that compliance with any applicable regulatory requirements is ensured at all times.
