EU invitation to tender Geothermal Neuruppin – Drilling Technology Lot 8: Liner hanger
Stadtwerke Neuruppin GmbH has a district heating network, which is currently supplied exclusively with boilers and CHPs. For decarbonisation, a geothermal energy centre is to be built at the Heinrich-Rau-Straße site. The permit field to be used has an area of approximately 13 448 600 m² and is located in the district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin. Due to numerous holes in close proximity to the planned drilling site, which represent an exceptionally good data situation, the preferred target was selected as the preferred target for the Aalen sandstone aquifer at approximately 1.700 m vertical depth as part of the geological knowledge analysis of the Aalen sandstone aquifer. Based on the productivity index of PI = 135 m³/h/MPa, a conveying of 200 m³/h geothermal brine with a conveying temperature of approx. 70.5 °C can be realised. Based on the consumption characteristics of the entire heating network in the Neuruppin city centre, an energy accounting was carried out. As a result, the use of high-temperature heat pumps can feed up to 76.000 MWh of geothermal heat into the district heating network. Lot 8 includes the supply and installation of liner hanger systems with Top Packer, Polished Bore Receptacle and Tie Back Stem, as well as the supply of float equipment for all sections of two deep geothermal wells.
