UK NEQAS is a national organisation of external quality assessment (EQA) programmes providing quality assessment in both primary and secondary care to centres performing pathology tests. UK NEQAS for Blood Coagulation specialises in tests of Haemostasis (blood clotting). We provide EQA for over 1 000 hospital-based laboratories (UK and international) performing diagnostic tests for disorders of blood clotting, and over 4 500 centres performing point of care testing, such as warfarin monitoring in General Practitioners' surgeries.
