Carlow County Outdoor Recreation Strategy
Carlow County Council invites quotations from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to prepare a County Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) as described by the County Outdoor Recreation Plan Guidelines for Development. This plan will align with the national strategy "Embracing Ireland’s Outdoors – National Outdoor Recreation Strategy 2023-2027" while addressing the specific needs, strengths, and aspirations of Carlow. The purpose of the CORP is to develop a cohesive, stakeholder-led framework that will guide the sustainable development, management, and promotion of outdoor recreation in Carlow. The plan will prioritise accessibility, inclusivity, environmental protection, and collaboration with community stakeholders and public bodies. Working under the guidance of Carlow County Council, this services contract is to prepare that plan.
