Description

The mandate includes the development of a road plan for Highway 9 on the Jännevirta. The project is located at the border between the city of Kuopio and the municipality of Siilinjärvi. The project includes the upgrading of the highway around 3 km, access and light traffic arrangements, noise protection, the design of new bridges and the option phase of the construction design of waterways, based on the waterway master plan.
The road plan is based on the Master Plan completed in 2014.
Before the road plan is put out to tender, the project has undertaken as a separate mandate the compilation of the pre-existing materials and the baseline data model.
The design shall be model-based.
