Description

The object of the contract shall be divided into separate lots: Lot I – Passenger transport services on local scheduled bus routes in Alytus. Lot II – Deployment and support services for the public transport information system in Alytus. The term of the contract is 5 years from the date of entry into force of the contract, which may be extended for a period of 5 years. Description of the subject of lot I: select a service provider to provide passenger transport services on the Alytus City Municipality’s bus routes (12 main routes). Estimated 12-month mileage for bus routes, including zero mileage of 1 985 000 km, which may vary (increased or decreasing) by no more than 15 % or 297 750 km from the specified preliminary 12-month mileage (including zero mileage). Bus routes with 27 green (electric) vehicles transferred to the service provider (20 units of the service provider and 7 units of electric buses purchased in partnership between 2022 and 2023). All vehicles shall be a low-floor single-deck, city-type M2 or midi M3 passenger buses. Description of lot II: select a service provider to install in Alytus public transport by electronic means a payment service for passenger transport and a transport management service comprising a complete cycle of electronic ticket management and use, vehicle monitoring and passenger information system in Alytus (hardware and software) with maintenance and after-sales service, including software support, throughout the performance of the contract. The procurement includes e-ticket management and accounting software that is deployed on a cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring the migration of data related to electronic tickets from the existing system to the new installed system.
