Description

The tender concerns the transport and treatment of source-sorted organic food waste for the contracting authority. Source-sorted food waste is collected from citizens and municipal institutions in Vejle Municipality via Vejle Municipality's collection scheme. Users sort food waste into green plastic bags, after which it is stored in a waste container that is emptied once a week or every 14 days. Food waste is reloaded at the recycling terminal in Vejle. The supplier of “Transport and treatment of source-sorted food waste” must pick up containers containing green bags of source-sorted food waste at the recycling terminal in Vejle, as well as treat collected source-sorted food waste. The supplier must make the aforementioned containers available to the customer.
