Gold sputter target
At the Institute of Quantum Technology in Ulm, a gold sputter target is required for the deposition of gold thin films in a magnetron sputtering plant. • Target material and purity: Gold (chem. Element Au), purity at least 99.99 % • Target dimensions: Diameter 127 mm, Thickness: 3 mm. Calculated amount of gold required: 732.81 g plus any processing losses. • Attachment of the gold target to a copper back plate by means of indium bonds, geometry of the copper plate including holes for attachment specified in attached document ‘5in membrane backing plate.pdf’, thickness 0.25 inches~=6mm. • Settlement of the actual amount of gold used at the current daily price when order is received. To ensure comparability of all offers, please accept a fictitious gold price of 115 euros / gram for the submission of the offer.
