Description

Region Sörmland and Region Västmanland (purchasers) carry out procurement of orthopaedic technical services in accordance with what is described in the procurement documents. The procurement concerns orthopaedic technical services, which includes responsibility for and operation of the orthopaedic technical activities with regard to measurement, manufacturing, testing, adaptation, model production, repair and maintenance, and service of orthopaedic assistive devices. The assignment also includes consulting services as well as medical, technical and administrative follow-up of provided aids in, for example, various team activities such as walking school, habilitation team, diabetes team, wound care team and foot team. Regarding contract area 1 Orthopaedic technology department, the Supplier shall operate the Orthopaedic technology department (OTA) at the purchaser's premises in hospitals as follows: Region Sörmland: • Mälar Hospital in Eskilstuna • Nyköping Hospital in Nyköping • Kullbergska Hospital in Katrineholm Region Västmanland: • Västmanlands Hospital in Västerås The assignment covers the following product groups within contract area 1: • Extremity prostheses (Lower and Upper) • Extremity orthoses (Lower and Upper) • Spinal orthoses • Orthopaedic shoes and shoe inserts including shoe fittings • Breast prostheses Regarding contract area 2 Molded seats, the Supplier shall supply orthopaedic technical services in the area of moulded seats according to the procurement documents. The assignment covers the following product groups within contract area 2: • Moulded seats • Other related products according to the price list Tenders must be submitted for at least one of the contract areas in this procurement. Tenders may be submitted for all areas covered by this contract. The buyer intends to sign procurement contracts with one (1) supplier for contract area 1 and one (1) supplier for contract area 2 as above. A supplier awarded procurement contracts for one contract area may also be awarded procurement contracts for the other contract area. Procurement contracts are signed with the same supplier(s) for both regions. This procurement replaces the current procurement contract, IN-IN19-0104, which expires on 30 April 2027.
