Belgium-Brussels: Breakdown and recovery services for motor vehicles
The service contract concerns the administrative removal and storage of vehicles at the request of the police services in the Brussels-West police zone -5340 and the municipal services of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Koekelberg, Jette, Ganshoren and Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, for a period of three years from 23.11.2014.
These vehicles will remain at the disposal of their owners, unless the police are prohibited.
As long as the vehicle remains with the contractor, he will be responsible for the vehicle and its contents, in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code (in particular Articles 1384, 1915 et seq.).
The following do not fall within the scope of the contract:
— troubleshooting, i.e. vehicles seized and repaired in the course of a judicial investigation,
— repairs carried out without requisition by the police and/or a municipal recording officer.
