In short, the contract includes the provision of the necessary DAB+ services for the local broadcasters in Layer 6 so that licensees in Layer 6 achieve a geographical coverage with DAB+ broadcasts of 90% mobile reception and a demographic coverage of 75% within reception at the end of 1 September 2026. In addition to providing, maintaining and managing the necessary DAB+ infrastructure, the selected network operator(s) must also provide a service organisation with which the DAB+ network can be managed, monitored and provided with service and support for the licensees. The contract concerns all 57 allotments in the Netherlands
