Description

The contracting authority has set up a central accommodation unit (ZUE) for refugees on a former barracks in Hamm (Westf), which has been operational since August 2015. The CDE Hamm is now to be expanded due to the unexpected rapid increase in the number of refugees. To this end, a casino and church building on the former barracks are being renovated and renovated.
The subject of this invitation to tender is the roofing and plumbing work in the above-mentioned buildings.
Implementation of the construction measure is particularly urgent because of the further rapid increase in the number of refugees in North Rhine-Westphalia, which cannot be foreseen in this form (see also the detailed justification for urgency under IV.1.1 of this notice). It is therefore imperative that the execution work starts on time. An order will be placed on 7 December 2015 and execution will start on 16 December 2015.
It is also imperative that the services provided by the subject of this invitation to tender be carried out on the above-mentioned buildings more rapidly. See III.2.3 of this notice for the specific requirements relating to the suitability of tenderers.
