Description

The Lapland Welfare Area invites tenders for tissue processors to be procured for the pathology units of the central hospitals of Lapland and Länsi-Pohja for conventional small tissue samples, greasy tissue samples and macro samples. Tissue processors are used to replace water in tissue samples with paraffin. The invitation to tender concerns the purchase of two devices. One of the devices will be delivered and installed at the West Ostrobothnia Central Hospital in Kemi and the other at the Lapland Central Hospital in Rovaniemi. The equipment must be delivered and installed so that the investment can be fully completed in 2026. The equipment to be procured should allow two different tissue processing programs to be run simultaneously in two different chambers. The total capacity of the device must exceed 500 cassettes with a standard processing program. The device shall have an integrated barcode reader to store information related to samples and reagents and to enable the traceability and reporting of samples.
