Germany-Berlin: Miscellaneous business and business-related services
With the development of telematics infrastructure by the Association for Telematic Applications of the Health Card (gematics), an IT infrastructure is being set up in the German health sector, linking health insurance funds, health care providers, insured persons and patients. The essential element of the telematics infrastructure is the electronic health card, which is issued by the health insurance funds to their insured persons and will in future serve as a ‘access key’ for insured persons to the TI.
The 11 AOKs, which care for around 24000000 insured persons nationwide, have set up a common project structure for managing the operational equipment of insured persons with the eGK and for the integration and adaptation of AOKs’ IT to the telematics infrastructure. The AOK-Bundesverband has the task of coordinating the AOKs in the field of telematics, ensuring a transparent flow of information, managing the technical development of the TI, IT structures and the other service providers involved.
In order to support and coordinate the Telematics/E-Health Card project, an external project specialist will be sought to assist the contracting authority’s internal project manager in all areas of the project, with a focus on “Picture acquisition”.
