Description

In the course of education development planning (BEP), the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr Neubzw. Extension of the primary school Steigerweg. The existing GGS Steigerweg will be extended from a three-course school to a four-course primary school. Due to the existing old trees, the placement and design of the building is limited. The coordinated preliminary design plan envisages a 3-storey new building with a single-storey auditorium in the north. Here, the existing football pitch is being dismantled. Along the western boundary of the property, the new building extends from the connection to the southernmost existing building to the area of the Bolzplatz. The building will be built as a single piece. In the northern course, the linear new building gives way to the existing building stock and runs in a bevel.
