Description

The aim of the project is to rehabilitate and develop the ‘STPS’ brownfield:
— a dry covered port for small and large vessels of between 7 and 15 metres long, as well as all facilities for their maintenance (repair space, shoring area, etc.) and their resale, via a storage space identified and promoted, as well as a shipchandler,
a multimodal logistics hotel,
— a business reception area (other than logistics).
The project is being implemented on a brownfield industrial site with a land footprint of 72 000 square metres. The existing buildings are located in the corner of the Sambre and the European freight rail track (Creil-Jeumont line).
The surface area of all buildings is 24 000 square metres.
It has five halles without floor, joined, two ancillary buildings and a water castle on a substantially flat terrain.
