Germany-Hanover: Magnetic resonance unit
The contract includes the supply of a magnetic resonance imaging device to Deutsche Primatenzentrums GmbH – Leibniz Institut für Primatenforschung in Göttingen, including the insertion, installation including sub-construction and training of staff for at least three days.
The system will be used in the scientific domain of the Leibniz Institute of Primates Research. The scientific requirements of the system lie in particular in the fields of cardio-MRT and neurological imaging, fMRI. Only a system bearing the CE marking in accordance with the current Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC (as last amended by amending Directive 2007/47/EC) should be offered and GS tested. The applications and technical system requirements must be compatible with the systems of the scientific cooperation partners (e.g. Siemens’ MRI device ‘Trio’). These compatibility criteria include measurement sequences, software interfaces and accessories (e.g. coils). Further details on the technical and equipment of the system can be found in the Technical Part (Part B) of the Tender Specifications.
Ready-to-use installation and start of scientific deployment are planned by 1 September 2014 at the latest.
The contracting authority and contractor are Deutsche Primatenzentrums GmbH – Leibniz Institut für Primatenforschung. The responsibility of the Logistics Centre of Lower Saxony ends with the award of the contract.
The contracting authority reserves the right to withdraw from the tender a posteriori, without penalty, of any particular items offered.
As per Tender Specifications – Technical Part (Part B) 2 (HF Cabine), 6. All built-in components, walls, ceilings and floor coverings shall be sampled.
Sampling is to be carried out at Deutsche Primatenzentrums GmbH – Leibniz Institut für Primatenforschung in Göttingen. Sampling will be carried out by the cabin builder and will only take place once the contract has been awarded.
