De opzet van de witgoedactie is dat inwoners met een kleine beurs via de Veenendaal-pas witgoed kunnen uitzoeken in de vorm van een koelvriescombinatie, (tafelmodel)koelkast, wasmachine, wasdroogcombinatie of droger. Het betreft dan energiezuinig witgoed. Dat is goed voor hun energierekening en goed voor het milieu en draagt bij aan CO2 besparing. Het vervangende model betreft dan energiezuinig model met een label A, B of C en voor drogers een A+++, A++ of A+. Maximale totale waarde van €600.000,-
