Description

Die Hansestadt Lübeck beabsichtigt die Grundschule Koggenweg entsprechend der steigenden Bedarfe von einer dreizügigen auf eine fünfzügige Grundschule auszubauen. Das zweigeschossige Schulgebäude wurde 1974 als sogenanntes "Kasseler Modell" in Stahlbeton-Fertigteilbauweise errichtet. Der Raumbedarf der dreizügigen Schule ist bereits heute deutlich größer als dies im Hauptgebäude abgebildet werden kann. Aus diesem Grunde wurde auf dem Parkplatz ein temporäres Containergebäude mit drei weiteren Unterrichtsräumen und WCs aufgestellt. Durch die geplante Errichtung von 450 zusätzlichen Wohneinheiten in der näheren Nachbarschaft wird sich der Bedarf der Schule mit entsprechenden Ganztagsbetreuungsräumen, DAZ-Klassen etc. weiter erhöhen. Aktuell befindet sich auf dem Schulgelände ein Neubau für eine Mensa bereits im Bau, welcher im Sommer 2024 fertiggestellt werden soll.
