Description

Karlsruher Fächer GmbH & Co. Stadtentwicklungs-KG is planning to build a new creative business centre for established companies from the cultural and creative sector scene at the site of the old slaughterhouse in Karlsruhe. The new construction takes place near the ‘Perfekt Futur’ business start-up centre, which was implemented in 2011, and next to the ‘growth and consolidation centre’ currently under implementation.
In order to achieve the best urban and architectural solution for the construction of new buildings, KFE decided in December 2016 to organise an implementation competition. The aim of the competition was to develop a building concept with a BGF of approximately 3 800 m².
As things stand, implementation is planned by 2020.
