To support the heat transition, the province is developing measures to address the challenges within these different categories. In addition, overarching bottlenecks have been identified, such as a lack of capacity and specific knowledge among municipalities. For smaller municipalities, limited capacity is often an obstacle, while larger municipalities, despite internal programme organisations, do not always have all the necessary expertise. One of the measures is the 'Kennispunt Warmte', which acts as a one-stop-shop to provide municipalities with knowledge and expertise in an accessible and efficient way. The aim of Kennispunt Warmte is to support municipalities in the implementation of their management role within the heat transition in an efficient and accessible way.
