Description

Two small and one large fireplaces will be delivered and installed. The use of suitable fireplaces in the conduct of chemical experiments and studies is a basic requirement for any laboratory. Old fireplaces currently in use can cause contamination of the workplace and cannot be considered completely safe for workers in the laboratory concerned. The fireplaces must be available for installation immediately after completion of the construction works for dismantling the old ones, prophylaxis of the ventilation ducts and completion of the preparation of the floor(s) on which they will be installed. The proposed fireplaces must comply with the requirements of standard EN IEC 61326-1:2021 - Electrical devices/equipment for measurement, control and laboratory application, requirements for electromagnetic compatibility or equivalent, and/or any other type of certificate proving reduced environmental impact, giving priority to the safety and protection of research and technical personnel who will use/maintain the equipment.
