Description

In the context of the restructuring of the school landscape in the municipality of Burbach, the Realschule and the secondary school in the Burbach school centre were gradually dissolved in 2010 and a community school with full-day teaching activities was set up.
In the context of this transformation, a mensa with a corresponding cooking kitchen has been installed on the ground floor of the current building II (former primary school building). This was linked to the disappearance of the break hall.
The remaining break hall in Building I (former real school building) is far too small for the number of pupils, so that, in the event of corresponding adverse weather conditions, they have to stay primarily in the corridors of the buildings. Moreover, the current administrative area, with two school heads offices and one secretariat, is now far too small. The total building volume is estimated at around EUR 4093454,00 net including ancillary construction costs (KG 700).
