FC Twente and Heracles Almelo created a joint regional youth academy in 2020 under the name FC Twente/ Heracles Academie B.V. The municipality of Hengelo and the two clubs wish to continue the regional youth football academy on the grounds of the Sportpark Veldwijk, namely in the Fanny Blankers-Koen stadium (hereinafter: ‘FBK stadium’) at Kuipersdijk 40 in Hengelo. The Municipality of Hengelo, FC Twente Accommodations B.V. and the Hengelose Athletics Association Marathon Pim Mulier (hereinafter: ‘MPM’) are currently the apartment owners of the main building of the FBK stadium.
