The subject of the contract is the ‘Supply of telecommunications, multimedia, technological-technology components and accompanying measures’.
The primary objective of the project is to build capacity to prevent and combat crime, making use of the latest technologies for land monitoring, processing of spatial data and images.
The project therefore involves the provision of equipment and services capable of supporting operational surveillance, surveillance and prevention activities; in particular, the supply concerns Carabinieri Headquarters for Environmental Protection located in the regions of Campania and Sicily and, to a lesser extent, to the Carabinieri Environmental Protection Unit in Rome.
The subject of the supply also includes consultancy activities aimed at geophysical surveys for environmental research, to be carried out using hardware and software tools and support for highly qualified personnel in carrying out the planned measures.
