The object of the contract is the development of smart city applications by the Municipality of Chalkida, with the following objectives: (a) the maximum integration of smart city systems in the operation of the city, communication with the citizens and the operation of the Municipality by integrating e-government logics, (b) the direct use of applications and systems by citizens, executives and elected representatives and their integration into their daily lives to meet the needs, transparency, participation, evaluation and continuous upgrading, (c) the orientation of any existing and new funding to strategic goals, so as to create economies of scale, with the basic slogan to do more with less, and (d) the creation of high-performance teams in the Municipality for the implementation of each action to ensure the continuity of actions and the dissemination of know-how in the Municipality, the guidance and participation of the local productive ecosystem and the coordination of actions.
