Description

For the LLG Iden (Landesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Gartenbau Sachsen-Anhalt), the Land of Saxony-Anhalt intends to further develop the modernisation of the inter-company training centre (hereinafter referred to as "ÜBS") as a recognised and supra-regionally effective educational institution with a role model for agriculture. In the course of this, the dairy and cattle farming sector will be rebuilt and expanded. The aim is to create a modern and future-oriented dairy farming as a basis for training, research and demonstration. The core component of the stable system is the technological process of milk production, including the associated milking technology. In this context, both the automatic and the conventional milking process are taught. In addition, the training includes topics such as animal treatment, animal assessment, hoof care, handling cows with special requirements (special needs cows) as well as feeding in theory and practice. The maximum group size of the training courses is 12 trainees with supervision by 1 to 2 trainers. As part of the dairy farm, the planned dry barn (BE 10.11) will be designed for up to 50 animals. A two-surface bay with plan-mounted feeding aisle and a scattered lying area will be available to the dry animals. In addition, the animals get access to a partially covered run with usually free use. Optional grazing is possible. The technical systems are designed to be animal-friendly, durable and easy to maintain. Occupational safety is particularly important with regard to its use as a training centre. In order to reduce emissions, stable floors must be constructed in accordance with the state of the art in terms of environmental and climate protection.
