Description

In this document, we describe the project “Light as a Service” for the relighting of the city of Mechelen within a circular model.
The ‘Light as a Service’ includes a performance-based service (lighting availability and light level achieved) at a fixed annual price, without initial investment and with a circular economic model at the end of the contract (taking back lighting devices and reusing products/components/material) because of the concept of sustainable and ecological production.
The purpose of this call for tenders is a 10-year service contract whereby the supplier offers light as a service within an auditable circular model.
