Description

The service includes the provision and operation of private transport networks for TV signal supply, live video streaming, time synchronization as well as general file and data synchronization and monitoring between the two playout centers (POCs) of the Open Channels (OKs) in Rhineland-Palatinate and Vodafone GmbH (Vodafone), Deutsche Telekom AG (Telekom) and Zattoo Deutschland GmbH (Zattoo) for the redistribution of TV programmes to their customers, hereinafter referred to as platform operators. The TV signals of 8 OK programs are taken over in the two OK-POCs in Trier (POC West) and Ludwigshafen (POC East) with 4 programs each (up to 8 programs per POC in the event of an accident). The network coupling and thus the transmission of the signals to the platform operators takes place at their central broadband PoPs in Frankfurt am Main, Berlin or Munich.
