Description

The subject of the public contract is the execution of a work consisting in the complex delivery and installation of the mobile part of the ETCS application level 2 (Level 2) signalling system, which will comply with the basic standard 3 (Baseline 3) (‘Equipment’) in 8 units of railway vehicles of the 845 series (‘units’), in accordance with the requirements set out in Annex 1 (‘the Work’). The contract also includes the delivery of related technical documentation, including documents necessary for the operation, maintenance and repair of the Equipment, including the implementation of changes to the Equipment and all documents necessary for the operation of such retrofitted units on railway lines in the Czech Republic, which will not be of a provisional or test nature, including documents on type approval (homologation) and certificates or other similar documents relating to each unit, i.e. approval by the Rail Authority (DÚ) and the European Railway Agency (ERA).
