Description

Die Stadt Nördlingen beabsichtigt am nordöstlichen Stadtrand ein neues Stadtquartier zu entwickeln, das insbesondere den gestiegenen Bedarf an Wohnraum abdecken soll. Der Flächennutzungsplan mit integriertem Landschaftsplan der Stadt Nördlingen sieht hier ca. 24 ha für Wohnbauflächen und ca.18 ha für ein reduziertes Gewerbegebiet vor, wobei diese Gebiete den Bedarf für die nächsten 20 bis 30 Jahre abdecken sollen. Ein städtebaulicher und landschaftsplanerischer Rahmenplan soll die langfristige städtebauliche Entwicklung für das Gesamtgebiet vorzeichnen. Auf dieser Grundlage soll eine zeitlich gestaffelte Baurechtschaffung mit einzelnen Bebauungsplänen erfolgen. Um ein qualitätvolles Konzept für die Entwicklung sicherzustellen, wird ein städtebaulicher und landschaftsplanerischer Wettbewerb gemäß RPW 2013 mit vorgeschaltetem Bewerbungsverfahren ausgelobt. Das Wettbewerbsgebiet umfasst insgesamt ca. 90 ha, der Vertiefungsbereich umfasst ca. 3-4 ha.
