The Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport - Lüneburg Business Area - intends to renew the B 248 federal road from Grabow via the Lüchow to Saaße bypass. The planning section is about 10 km long and includes sections 917, 935, 955 and 960. The subject of the planning includes in particular: - the renewal of the roadway of the B 248 on a length of about 10 km. The type, depth and sectional definition of the required renewal - from the renewal of the asphalt deck and asphalt truss layer to the complete renewal of the asphalt superstructure including the required supporting layers - must be determined on the basis of the existing studies, the survey accompanying the planning and the technical evaluation of the contractor, justified in the development proposal and agreed with the contracting authority; - the accompanying cycle paths from the western roundabout in the direction of Grabow and from the eastern roundabout in the direction of Saaße, mainly with top layer renewal and partial ground renewal; - crossings and junctions in principle until the end of the respective rounding; - occasional repairs and adjustments to existing drainage; - road markings, small signage, vehicle restraint systems, banquets, side areas and other road equipment; - transport facility-related services on existing bridge structures, in particular coverings, gutters as well as connections and transitions. Object and structural design of the civil engineering structures are not the subject of this award.
