Description

UZ Leuven wishes to appoint a temporary service provider for the outsourcing of certain catering services, in particular the preparation of fresh hot meals and soup as further defined. UZ Leuven prepares more than 3000 fresh hot meals and 1300 liters of fresh soup every day during weekdays. During weekend days, about 750 hot meals and 450 liters of soup are prepared per day. And this for both patients and staff. Due to renovation works in the central kitchen in Gasthuisberg, part of the hot kitchen will be outsourced. The estimated duration of these renovation works is 1 year. During this period, the following dishes will be outsourced temporarily (non-exhaustive): - Prepared dishes such as bolognaise sauce, vol-au-vent, goulash, stew - Patient-specific soup and soup for the staff - Potato preparations such as puree and palate - Mayonnaise All these preparations with the exception of mayonnaise must be prepared according to the recipe of UZ Leuven.
