Description

The object of the procurement is taxi transport services produced at the Asema Square taxi station of the City of Helsinki. Asema-aukio taxi station is located in a street area owned by the city. The aim is to organise the competitive tendering of the taxi station services in Asema-aukio so that in the future only those taxi companies that are selected as service providers of the arrangement on the basis of the competitive tendering can operate at the taxi station. Two (2) winners will be selected as service providers on the basis of competitive tendering. The main users of the services are the passenger customers of the main railway station. Taxi services must be available 24 hours a day. This tendering procedure does not apply to other taxi services in the vicinity of the main railway station. Service providers selected on the basis of competitive tendering pay the City of Helsinki a compensation for the use of the area. The duration of the concession contract is two years (24 months) and, in addition, any option periods are one year (12 months) + one year (12 months).
