Description

The construction and garden company Lahr is headquartered at Gutleutstraße 23 in Lahr (lot no. 4290). On the premises there are several halls, workshops and social rooms.
Due to the almost complete sealing of the area, the flat roofs are to be greened and used for regenerative energy generation.
In addition, it must be checked in advance whether a new local heating island can be built or connected to an existing heating network. According to the implementation standard of the city of Lahr, the share of renewable energies in energy use should be 30% above the legal requirements (EEWärmeG). The use of fossil fuels in newly built heating systems is not desired.
The resulting district is to be networked not only with regard to the energy source, but also in the field of building technology.
Office and workshop buildings:
The existing building is to be demolished. The new building is to be planned as a road-accompanying construction in the sense of a good urban development. In form, this should clearly form a uniform presence with the already existing personnel and workshop building.
The new building is to move a parking space depth away from the road in order to be able to offer new parking facilities without crossing with the operating traffic.
On the ground floor, the inflated hot hall is to provide the four parking spaces for the BGL commercial vehicles with frost protection (approximately 5° Celsius room temperature) overnight. While the large workshop in the adjoining part of the building will be used by means of lifting platforms, crane runway and additional pit for repairing the own vehicles, the small equipment of the construction and garden operation can be processed in the adjacent room (about 17° Celsius room temperature).
The vertical access to the above-ground office space is to be arranged by means of a lift at the pivot of the building yard. The offices are to be arranged on one level on the upper floor with an optimal overview of the courtyard. The new administration not only has offices for one to three workstations, but also has a training area in addition to a tea kitchen, which can be connected to the tea kitchen. In these rooms, optimal air circulation (cold/heat) and sufficient natural exposure and illuminance must be ensured.
In addition to the possible renewable energy sources, the flat roof areas must also be provided for rainwater retention and greening.
Cold hall:
The new vehicle hall must be structurally connected to the existing warehouse buildings. The existing covered parking spaces (8 units) with the new vehicle hall will also be merged into a single unit by means of a contiguous roadway.
The hall will provide a nightly and dew-free shelter for around 20 short commercial vehicles (5m) and 10 long commercial vehicles (10m). The safe storage of vehicles directed for the following day should be ensured.
The new drive-through solution is intended to ensure safe and easier traffic management and, by creating many large storage areas in the dry, the daily attachment and demounting of trailers is no longer necessary.
Optimum ventilation and plenty of daylight in the cold hall must be ensured. The roof pitch of these roofs shall be provided for PV systems. The green flat roof areas should ensure rainwater retention
