Poland-Olkusz: Sewage-treatment plant construction work

Additional contract consisting of:
A. the execution of the works necessary for the proper operation of the pumping station within the out-of-pool tanks – Facility No.
1 – Main pumping station;
B. carrying out the works necessary for the proper operation of the pre-denitrification and dephosphatisation chamber for construction
reservoir – facility No 5/1 – Biological waste water treatment stock;
C. the execution of the works necessary to achieve the intended technological effect of modernisation
secondary settlers – plant Nos 6/1, 6/2 – secondary settlers;
D. execution of works necessary for the comprehensive modernisation of the sludge fermentation node – plant Nos 11/1, 11/2
— Secondary fermentation chambers;
for the basic contract – Contract W7 Rebuilding of the Ścieków treatment plant in Olkuszu for the project entitled ‘Organisation of waste water management in the Biała Przemszy catchment area in the following municipalities: Olkusz, Bukowno, Bolesław and Klucze – Phase I’, which is implemented in accordance with contract No ZP/2/2013/W7 signed on 16.5.2013,
drawn up on the basis of the Contract Terms for Construction for civil engineering works designed by the Contracting Authority’ – translation of the 1st edition of 1999 and the 4th edition of English-Polish, unchanged, 2008 (so-called: ‘red’ FIDIC), hereinafter referred to as FIDIC and in accordance with the provisions of the Construction Law Act of 7.7.1994 (consolidated text: Journal of Laws 2010, No 243, item 1623 as amended).
Ad.A. The scope of the works includes:
(a) construction of new coatings of walls, bottoms, ceilings of receptacles with the technology proposed by the Contractor and used on other technological sites – plant No 4 – pre-settler.
Ad.B. The scope of the works includes:
(a) demolition of the outer wall of the concrete channel, in the portion pre-looked to leave;
(b) drilling and pasting of steel anchors to strengthen the connection of the plate to the new wall;
(C) preparation of the surface of the existing board on the connection – removal of loose fragments, application of the varietal layer;
(D) position of the bentonite strap or injection hose to seal the joint;
(e) reinforcing the wall with 8 mm wire rods;
(F) walling;
(g) corrosive and sandwiched surfaces of walls and exposed concrete;
(H) anti-corrosion armour protection and reprofiling of concrete elements, with full recovery of the coating.
Ad.C. The scope of the works includes:
(a) Renovation of the concrete structure of settlers 6.1 and 6.2;
(b) the replacement of steel components of the central chamber;
(C) replacement of drain strips with surface and lower deflectors;
(D) replacement of the scraper with the central bearing;
(e) connection of equipment to the ACP andA system.
Ad.D. The scope of the works includes:
(a) the consequences of weak and ‘deaf’ layers of casing;
(b) sanding of the entire inner surface, including the armour exposed;
(C) anti-corrosion armour protection and opening of the sheath, by reprofiling with pcc. mortars;
(D) insulation of the entire inner surface with a mineral coating;
(e) replacement of internal tubing and replacement or anti-corrosion protection of an interior mounted guard.
