Description

Stadswerk072 intends to publish a European public tender for the contract ‘Redesign Overdie-West, Alkmaar’ in September 2026. With this pre-announcement, we want to inform potentially interested market parties in advance about this intended tender. We invite you to follow the publication and participate in the tender. Preparation and further elaboration of the procurement documents is ongoing. The Overdie-West district in the municipality of Alkmaar represents an integral redevelopment. The current sewerage system and a large part of the public space have reached the end of their technical lifespan and are being replaced. At the same time, climate-adaptive measures, greening, traffic improvements and adaptations to water management are being implemented. Implementation is planned for the period 2027-2029. The contract consists mainly of the following activities (including indicative quantities): • Removal and installation of main sewerage (separate system 2 x 2,500 metres) • Removal of element pavement (30,000 m2) • Breaking up of asphalt pavement (10,000 m2) • Excavating and processing of soil (35,000 m3) • Installation of mixing granulate (9,000 tonnes) • Installation of element pavement (26,000 m2) More information will follow when the tender documents are published.
