Die Auftragsvergabe erfolgt im Namen der NEW AG zugunsten ihrer Tochtergesellschaft NEW Netz GmbH. Die NEW Netz nutzt die Systeme der Firma SAP seit vielen Jahren. Sie sind in fast alle Prozesse des Unternehmens integriert und gewährleisten die ineinandergreifenden Funktionalitäten von technischen und kaufmännischen Prozessen sowie der Befolgung aller rechtlichen Vorgaben die (Informations-) Sicherheit und vor allem die Sicherheit der kritischen Infrastruktur betreffend. Mit dem Update auf die SAP S/4 HANA Utilities stellt die NEW Netz auch für die Zukunft sicher, dass die Software und die damit erfolgende Abwicklung aller relevanten Prozesse den Anforderungen an IT-Sicherheit und allen neuen technischen IT-Standards genügt.
