Description

The Federal Republic of Germany intends to restructure the "HIL Werke" (HIL GmbH) located at the St. Wendel site into a competence centre for tracked vehicles of the army (so-called "Kompetenzzentrum KETTE"). In the future, tracked vehicles of the Bundeswehr will be serviced and repaired at the KETTE competence centre. For this purpose, new factory and operating halls and other buildings as well as user-specific facilities are needed at the St. Wendel site, including the main workshop for system and component repairs as well as logistics and service areas (such as goods acceptance, spare parts warehouse) - workshop for, inter alia, tower repairs - multifunctional building for, inter alia, entry assessment, chain repair and exit inspection - petrol station - system washing line - carpentry/separation - engine test bench - hall for support areas - administrative building (for administrative work) - as well as the outdoor facilities required as part of the complete restructuring of the site (including associated civil engineering works and technical infrastructure). Project management is carried out by means of integrated project management (IPA) using a multi-party contract (MPV).
