Description

Derry City and Strabane District Council invite suppliers to tender for a PeacePlus Food Poverty Project. A Waterside based cross-community project for extremely marginalised participants. This project meets needs around Food Poverty identified in the co-design process. It will provide a safe, shared space located in the Waterside DEA for people impacted by food poverty (and poverty in general) to connect, talk, learn and share issues and concerns. Delivery includes both a capital element (Creation of a social kitchen through refurbishment of a container unit/portacabin or suitable existing space) and a cross-community programming element relevant to usage of the new space.
