A new university heart centre is being built at Heidelberg University Hospital. Within the clinic grounds in the Neuenheimer Feld in the ongoing clinic operation of Heidelberg University Hospital, on the grounds around the old children's clinic. The new heart centre will bring together cardiology, angiology, cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiology, pediatric heart surgery and cardio-anaesthesia at Heidelberg University Hospital. Through interdisciplinary cooperations and innovations, synergies and added value in supply and research are generated.
