Description

The need has arisen within Aqualysis to purchase two new GC-MS systems In order to guarantee water quality within the working area of the water boards, it is important to closely monitor the presence of plant protection products and substances that fall under the national and European directives (WFD). These new improved systems are intended to replace the current gas chromatographic systems that have been in use for 10 years. Although the current systems are still functioning, they are outdated and need to be replaced so that the continuity and reliability of the analyses can be guaranteed in the future. In addition, there is an increasing demand from the water boards for lower reporting limits (more sensitivity) and for more difficult to analyse components. The sensitivity of the systems will therefore be an important part of this tender. With the expected increase in demand and research, the number of samples may increase in the coming years. The new systems must therefore also be designed to be able to process this amount of samples efficiently. This ensures continuous operational capability and minimizes the need for frequent upgrades or replacements in the near future. Scope of the assignment Aqualysis needs two new GC-MS systems. The contract is divided into two lots because in lot 1, both techniques of ionisation (EI and APCI) can be interesting for the analysis of the different plant protection products that will be measured on the first system. Aqualysis wishes to be able to offer the widest possible range of plant protection products at the level of the water quality standards. In lot 2 only an EI source is requested because an EI source is sufficient for the components that will be measured on this system and because the NIST library can be used (because of the use of the system for target screening applications). This division into lots also offers parties that only supply a GC-MS system with an APCI source or an EI source the opportunity to tender for a single lot. The consumables, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance, are connected to the system to be delivered. Therefore, each parcel concerns the delivery of a GC-MS system including maintenance and consumables. By means of this European tender, an Agreement will be concluded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender with the best price-quality ratio between Aqualysis and one Contractor per lot. Part of the assessment is to perform an application test on samples sent by Aqualysis. We ask interested parties to express their interest as soon as possible so that the necessary samples for the application test can be sent in time. You can express your interest via the messaging module in Mercell Source-to-Contract. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
