Description

Dansk Center for Partikelterapi (DCPT), Region Midtjylland, skal købe en mikro-CT-scanner til in-vivo og ex-vivo billeddannelse af smådyr. Det skal være et selvstændigt system med en rumlig opløsning på 65 µm eller bedre. Det skal være i stand til at udføre dual energi scanning for bedre beregninger af proton stop effekt. Vi har også fokus på billedhastighed, og derfor skal det være muligt at scanne flere mus i en session. Det er forudsat, at billedbehandlings faciliteterne vil blive udvidet i fremtiden, og det er et krav, at det er muligt at opgradere systemet på et senere tidspunkt. Her fokuserer vi både på at opgradere microCT-specifikationerne, f.eks. billeddannelse med højere opløsning, og udvidelse med multimodal billeddannelse, f.eks. SPECT, PET, optisk billeddannelse. For de multimodale opgraderinger er det afgørende, at de kommer som et integreret system, således at de forskellige modaliteter kan scannes i en enkelt scanning session, uden at man manuelt skal overføre dyret mellem enheder.
