Description

The subject of the procurement is the service of drafting the Environmental Impact Study, obtaining a decision and all the necessary special conditions for obtaining a location permit for the Osijek CP project. The treatment of municipal waste in RCGO Orlovnjak will generate fuel from waste in the amount of about 30,000 t/year. Given that the produced fuel from waste contains high-calorie particles and the average calorific value is about 15.5 MJ/kg, it is necessary to recover this type of waste in accordance with EU Directives and the definition of the waste hierarchy. In the Osijek-Baranja County, as production waste with an energy value, an additional 18,000 t/year of waste fuel is estimated, as well as about 6,000 t/year of sewage sludge. Energy recovery of waste implies the incineration of waste under special controlled conditions for the purpose of producing energy, electricity and heat.
