Description

A prerequisite for trains to communicate safely with ERTMS via GSM-R is cryptographic security using digital keys. These keys are created and issued by the infrastructure manager and then loaded into both the Radio Block Center (RBC) and the on-board ERTMS equipment (OBUs). The tool to be developed for this purpose will be called Key Management Center (KMC). This will be explained in an online information meeting on 12 December at 11: 00. 1
