On the route Konolfingen - Thun is the Heimberg Tunnel, also called the "Hasliwald Tunnel", which was built in 1910 for the then Burgdorf-Thun Railway (BTB). It is a single-track tunnel, which is located in rocks (nail-fluh and sandstone) and is clad on about 50% of the route. According to the tunnel inspection from 2022, the tunnel is in sufficient to poor condition (ZK 3.75).
