The Städtisches Klinikum Solingen gGmbH (AG) is a hospital of maximum care with currently 658 planned beds in 18 clinics and institutes. There are currently around 400 doctors in the hospital's medical service and around 980 employees in the nursing service. The hospital is connected to an educational center that has over 160 training places in state-recognised health and nursing care, health and paediatric nursing, as well as 18 training places for surgical assistants. The Pathological Institute, which was managed on its own until 31.05.2020, has currently awarded the Klinikum Solingen to an external service provider until 30.09.2025.
