Description

The Ludwig Guttmann School, a socio-educational centre for physical and motor development, is located in Karlsbad. The building, located in a slightly hill position, consists of one-storey components A to G, which are added to each other, with the A to E components located downstream of the slope. The current state of the structure requires a renewal of the windows and façade cladding. The existing sanitary facilities need to be restructured and implemented in accordance with the changed requirements for disability-friendly construction. In addition, the central entrance area will be expanded as the façade is being rehabilitated by moving the post/cross-piece façade on two sides of the patio. The project will be implemented in 6 successive phases (component E, component D, inner courtyard component, components F, C and B).
